Below: springtime brings out motorcycle riders from around the area. This group from North Carolina
and Virginia takes advantage of a warm day in March.

Two types of motorcycle riders visit Damascus: cruisers (top of page) and the sport bikers,
who usually visit nearby Shady Valley to test their skills (three mountains, one valley, 489 curves).
