Veterans Memorial
Funds are currently being raised by the VFW, the American Legion,
and the local
volunteer group Discover Damascus
to establish a Veterans Memorial for the town.
The location, which is being cleared now,
is on property along Beaverdam Creek
next to the town park.
Contributions may be made at Town Hall, or at the Bank of Damascus.
