Duties include oversight of municipal operations and personnel, public relations, zoning and floodplain administration, code enforcement, ordinance amendments, planning, record-keeping and financial reporting, project management, budget preparation, and partnering with regional planning districts, state agencies, and nonprofits. The Town of Damascus is seeking a dependable individual for a Public Works seasonal position, which runs from April through September, Monday - Friday. Primary responsibilities include seasonal landscaping maintenance by operating zero-turn mowers, push mowers, string trimmers, and chainsaws to maintain town parks, trails, and public areas.

- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Experience with landscaping equipment (preferred but not required).
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
